March 3, 2010

Disappointed is the term Jessica Simpson used to describe her feelings towards John Mayer on “Oprah.” Mayer gave great detail of his former sex life with the star via a Playboy interview last month (Click HERE to see more).

Though she does not “resent” him, Simpson admits (via He [Mayer] did apologize. I don’t accept it. It’s just one of those things that…. I’m just going to let that go. That part of my life is over.

February 28, 2010

While at dinner with friends in New York City, John Mayer proclaimed his affection for fellow musician Ke$ha via his Twitter account (said Dear Ke$ha, you have won me over with your tricks and charms and I must tell you I really like your song [“TiK ToK”] (February 27).

Mayer jokingly continued: Though I must add I tried brushing with a bottle of Jack and I chipped a tooth on the glass. Where might I remit an invoice?

Record breaker Ke$ha was thrilled to see the tweet and directed Mayer revised lyrics from her hit song “Blah Blah Blah”: dear john mayerrr. Don’t be a little b*tch wit ur chit chat. Jus $how me whur ur d*ck’s at.

Though the conversation did not carry on from there, Mayer did previously declare this statement to the Ke$ha “haters”: Stop telling your friends you detest the Ke$ha song and then dancing to it at home. How about some accountability, people?

No word as to whether the sell-outs** will work together in the future.

**In recent months, both John Mayer and Ke$ha have sung to sold-out audiences nationwide.

Conan O’Brien takes to Twitter…about squirrels

February 25, 2010

Poor Conan O’Brien, some people would say, but late-show veteran is still having the last laugh.

Offered a whopping $45 million to boot his gig on “The Tonight Show” ($12 million for staff), O’Brien was told by NBC that he could not appear on television until September 2010.

In considering such terms, O’Brien took to the medium that has seen great success with other controversials: (**Clears throat** John Mayer).

O’Brien’s account (@ConanOBrien) was verified yesterday and has received 250,000-plus followers in the enticement of one tweet: Today I interviewed a squirrel in my backyard and then threw to commercial. Someone help me. His “bio” offers similar laughs: I had a show. Then I had a different show. Now I have a Twitter account.

In addition to his Twitter account, O’Brien could make millions off of a new show on his repertoire. Justice, produced by O’Brien’s production company, Conaco, is set to premiere on NBC this fall. He and his production company say that this had nothing to do with his breach in contract, but the blogosphere was eager to consider skepticism.

Nonetheless, O’Brien had captured the nation with his dream-shattered “Tonight Show” departure and inspired the “I’m With CoCo” movement. Mike Mitchell, a fan based in Los Angeles, created the “I’m With CoCo” logo and is now selling memorabilia to commemorate the late-night chaos.

The tees, prints and wristbands may be ordered at and proceeds will be donated to Haitian earthquake relief by means of Planting Peace. By doing so, Mitchell is acknowledging O’Brien’s wish and considering the ” more important things [going on in the world] then him [O’Brien] being bumped.”

John Mayer enrages GLAAD

February 15, 2010

In the same Playboy interview by which John Mayer outraged his African-American audience and former flames via outlandish comments, the Grammy-winner sparked an uproar within the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) organization (February 12).

GLAAD is specifically outraged by Mayer’s use of the term “fag” while explaining his 2010 New Year’s Eve encounters and former sexual experiences: The only man I’ve kissed is Perez Hilton, said Mayer. It was New Year’s Eve and I decided to go out and destroy myself. I was dating Jessica [Simpson] at the time, and I remember seeing Perez Hilton flitting about this club and acting as though he had just invented homosexuality. All of a sudden I thought, I can outgay this guy right now. I grabbed him and gave him the dirtiest, tongue-iest kiss I have ever put on anybody–almost as if I hated fags. I don’t think my mouth was even touching when I was tongue kissing him, that’s how disgusting this kiss was. I’m a little ashamed. I think it lasted about half a minute. I really think it went on too long.

The artist went on to say: Because I want to show her I’m not like every other guy. Because I hate other men. When I’m f*cking you, I’m trying to f*ck every man who’s ever f*cked you, but in his *ss, so you’ll say ‘No one’s ever done that to me in bed.

Amidst a concert on February 10, an empathetic Mayer apologized to his fans and crew, while explaining his means of “cleverness” (Click here to see the video: ). Official apologies were also sent out via his Twitter account (@johncmayer).

John Mayer apologizes

John Mayer sparks racial controversy, yet again….

February 10, 2010

The following excerpt is from a post on John Mayer’s 2010 interview with Playboy. Its contents on race has sparked controversy throughout the blogosphere and has become a constant trendy topic on Twitter. I will not post feedback on the article, but Mayer’s statements are clearly hurtful and worthy of self-reflection:

In the midst of sharing his thoughts on sex, Mayer also took time to give a few eyebrow-raising soundbites on race, particularly his strong African American fanbase and his predilection for Caucasian women, when it comes to matters of lust.

“I am a very…I’m just very. V-E-R-Y,” Mayer said. “And if you can’t handle very, then I’m a douche bag. But I think the world needs a little very. That’s why black people love me.”

“Someone asked me the other day, ‘What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?” Mayer continued. “And by the way, it’s sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a n—-r pass. Why are you pulling a punch and calling it a hood pass if you really have a hood pass? But I said, ‘I can’t have a hood pass. I’ve never walked into a restaurant, asked for a table and been told, ‘We’re full.'”

“My d–k is sort of like a white supremacist,” Mayer went on. “I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f—in David Duke cock. I’m going to start dating separately from my d–k.”

Despite all this, Mayer insists, “I’ve never been a bad boy. I may have taken someone through the wringer psychologically, but I’ve never been sinister.”

Mayer’s interview has already sparked controversy on social networking sites like Twitter, where he was a trending topic on Wednesday afternoon. User OneNiceDish wrote, “Seriously, what is wrong with John Mayer? Total asshat,” while jfuentes tweeted, “Why is everyone still surprised when John Mayer says crazy sh*t to reporters? He lives for this stuff.”

“Wow. John Mayer, you are just too open minded,” tweeted neopoliandreams. “Thoughts like that should be nothing more than thoughts, ‘specially if you’re famous.”

John Mayer: Sex fiend for Simpson, Love for Aniston

February 10, 2010

Hollywood and fans may have forgotten John Mayer’s whirlwind romance with Jessica Simpson, which ended in 2007, but according to Mayer, his former flame was and is his sexual addiction.

The Grammy-winner said in a new interview with Playboy, “That girl, for me, is a drug. …That girl is like crack cocaine to me.”

Mayer went on to say, “Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

“Have you ever been with a girl who made you want to quit the rest of your life,” asked Mayer. “Did you ever say, ‘I want to quit my life and just … snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to [sleep with] you, I would start selling all my [stuff].’ ”

The “Who Says” singer/songwriter has never bit his tongue when it came to discussing his personal life, but sources at are calling this Playboy interview “jaw-dropping” for his meticulous discussion of Jessica Simpson and his vague mentioning of Jennifer Aniston.

Of the actress, Mayer said that knew Aniston would not appreciate being mentioned in an article about “kiss-and-tell’s.” He said his love for the actress prepared him for her portion the interview.
