Alicia Keys & Beyoncé take New York by storm!

Alicia Keys and Beyoncé take the stage during Keys’ Freedom stop in New York on Wednesday (said via, March 18).

The tour was named after her latest, wildly successful album “The Element of Freedom” and features “Put It In A Love Song,” a duet with Ms. Carter.

A music video for the track was shot in Brazil, by which a sneak peek aired on a March episode of “Oprah” (See BELOW!).

This one-of-a-kind Beyoncé/Martin duet was one of many performances at the “Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief” telethon. The event was hosted by George Clooney and featured dozens of celebrities answering calls for donations and performing live for earthquake relief.

Beyoncé and Chris Martin performed in London, as the other host locations for the telethon were in New York and Los Angeles.

The event aired commercial free on most major cable and news networks, and raised over $50 million for the cause.


Beyoncé to join celebrity-filled “Hope for Haiti” telethon

Ten-time 2010 Grammy nominee Beyoncé Knowles has joined the long list of celebrities partaking in the multi-network “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon. The event will be held on Friday, January 22, at 8 p.m. and will air on MTV, BET, VH1, ABC, NBC, CW, Fox, CNN, Comedy Central, Oxygen, National Geographic, E!, Bravo, HBO, TNT, Showtime and other related networks.** The telethon will be hosted by George Clooney and will air commercial free.

Performances throughout the telethon include Beyoncé, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, Shakira, Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Bono, Edge, and Wyclef Jean.***

All proceeds will go to Haiti relief organizations, including the American Red Cross and Wyclef Jean’s Yéle Haiti Foundation.

According to, “All performances will be available for purchase for $.99 per song through the iTunes beginning Saturday, Jan. 23, with all proceeds benefiting Haiti relief funds managed by “Hope for Haiti Now” charities.”***
